We would greatly appreciate your help in the efforts of State archives to collect any and all documents that mirror the events connected with the recent election of the President of Ukraine.
In addition to the mandatory acquisition by State Archives to document the election under the Law of Ukraine "On the Election of the President of Ukraine," the collection and preservation of any documents (regardless of their kind and provenance), that reflect the elective process is also desirable and necessary.
Representative of headquarters and agents of both candidates, public organizations, mass media and individuals – the state archives asks you to deliver to the archives copies of agitation editions, leaflets, posters, photo and video materials and any other documentation of the events of the Orange Revolution.
It is very important to collect any electronic media, including Internet resources, "oral history" of the revolution throughout Ukraine, i.e., testimonies of participants or witnesses in the key moments of our National history irrespective to their political views, feelings and sympathies.
These documents bear witness to the historic events that resounded throughout the world. Without your assistance, the vitally important documents during these unique days in Ukraine’s history cannot be preserved.
